The research covered territories within the Obukhovychi Forestry, former collective farm forest tracts, and the floodplains of the Liubsha, Bolotna, Zbynka, and Bychok rivers.
This area is home to numerous populations of rare plant and animal species listed in the Red Data Book of Ukraine.
