As a non-governmental environmental organization, in addition to supporting our defenders, we are doing everything we can to impact russia economically, in particular, to destroy the export of natural resources from it.
We have repeatedly approached to all major buyers of russian wood from Europe and came across the Austrian company Pulp Mill Holding. Its officials supported the russian aggression in the correspondence.
This company specializes in the production of paper, cardboard, packaging for a number of brands, including Nestle and Auchan. It is “Austrian” only formally, because it actually belongs to the russian oligarch Vladimir Krupchak. By the way, he was a member of the State Duma from the «United russia» party, headed the subcommittee on forest resources of the Committee on Natural Resources and Nature Management.
Krupchak’s business history in Ukraine dates back to 2000, when he became Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Advisor to the General Director (and since 2018 – Beneficiary) of one of the largest Europe’s cardboard and paper companies – Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill in Obukhiv. Yes, the plant, in particular, produces the famous toilet paper.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Krupchak is still the beneficiary of a dozen Ukrainian companies, including ENERGY PJSC, DNIPROVTORMA LLC, VTORRESURSI ZAKHID LLC, VTORRESURSI SKHID LLC, etc.
In 2020, according to Forbes magazine, Krupchak took 11th place in the ranking of the richest businessmen in Ukraine with a herds of $660 million (not without the participation of russian assets)!
Now the workers of his enterprises, like the whole of Ukraine, are under constant threat of air strikes, and Krupchak’s business continues to work for the aggressor, continues to provide products to companies that have not left the occupier’s market, continues to support russia’s war against Ukraine.
❗We have already appealed to the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Tax Service of Ukraine to take appropriate action against Volodymyr Krupchak to prevent funds from flowing into the aggressor country. In our opinion, all his assets in Ukraine must be confiscated.
We also appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to draw the attention of the Austrian government to take action against the Austrian company Pulp Mill Holding, which is controlled by Putin’s friends and supports russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and imposed appropriate sanctions.
