The Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group (UNCG) is hosting an online preparatory meeting for the participants of the upcoming First All-Ukrainian Bioblitz!
From May 19 to June 8, 2025, Ukrainian nature researchers will compete in this national biodiversity event. A bioblitz is a large-scale citizen science initiative where participants photograph and document plants, animals, fungi, and other living organisms. Observations are uploaded via the iNaturalist mobile app or website. Thanks to iNaturalist, about 1.4 million observations of living organisms have already been collected in Ukraine. We hope that, together with you, we can break all records during this bioblitz.
This consultation is an opportunity to learn more about the rules of participation, how observations will be evaluated, what prizes are available, and to address any other questions participants may have.
- Date: May 16
- Time: 6:00 PM (Kyiv time)
- Platform: ZOOM
This event continues the cycle of webinars held in preparation for the First All-Ukrainian Bioblitz.
This event is part of the project “Saving Natural Heritage for LIFE in Ukraine” (LIFE23-PRE-CZ-ConNaturLIFE Ukraine), which is co-financed by the European Union and the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic.
