Kholodnyi Yar National Nature Park was established on 1st January 2022. On that day the dream of many generations of conservationists came true (the idea of national park establishment arose in the 1980s of the last century).
However, 2 months after its establishment a full-scale war began… Nowadays, the priority is the support of Armed Forces of Ukraine but nature also needs our help. The staff of the park must do its work i.e. protect the territory from poachers and illegal loggers, conduct scientific expeditions, engage in environmental education, organize historical, cultural and patriotic events, because Kholodnyi Yar is the heart of the Ukrainian Resistance.
The employees of the national park used personal cars for 2 years but their service life has been exhausted. Moreover, it is not very appropriate to drive a family car in forests and ravines.
Therefore, we announce fundraising to purchase a four-wheel drive vehicle for the park administration. We will buy it abroad and would like to collect UAH 250,000 (approx. 6,200 €). The car will need servicing at maintenance station and buying an additional set of high-quality tires.
